Shadows of Ourselves - Gallery Edition
Shadows of Ourselves - Gallery Edition
"We humans have an intense curiosity about worlds beyond our own (and so do I!). For as long as we’ve looked up at the stars, the timeless question has lingered: Are we truly alone here?
In sci-fi films, the storyline is familiar—an overpowering alien species descends upon Earth, taking, destroying, and eradicating everything in its path.
It’s easy to see why humanity is so fixated on this narrative. It mirrors us. It reflects how we’ve often treated our own planet. And we’ve already made plans for neighboring worlds, though whether they’ll ever come to fruition remains to be seen.
But what if we could change the narrative?
What if instead of conquerors, an alien race became the guardians of their newfound home? Could we, in turn, learn to protect our own? To see our surroundings with fresh eyes and recognize how unique and precious the source of life around us truly is?
Perhaps, in facing the shadows of ourselves, we can find not an end, but a new beginning."

A quiet consultation
Art chooses its place as much as we choose it. If you’d like advice — on size, framing, or finding the piece that belongs in your space — I’m here to help. I bring both an artist’s eye and a background in interior design, should you wish for a quieter kind of consultation.
